VMS INSTITUTES are established in Loving memories of Late Sh. Vishwa Mitter Sekhri ji and are run by Sh. Vishwa Mitter Sekhri Charitable Society, Batala.

VMS INSTITUTES has the honour of running seven Institutes/colleges under one brand. These are VMS College of Education, VMS college of Law, VMS college of Pharmacy, VMS Institute of Nursing, VMS College, VMS Institute of Management. Every Institute is well committed in imparting value-based quality education through training and holistic personality development of its students. It is understood that this is required for students to make full use of the challenges and opportunities of both, personal and professional lives, so as to prove their worth in society. Only then will they be able to successfully perform the responsibility, which they would be assigned in the times to come.

It is believed that education is a continuous and dynamic process that is not confined to the classroom, but goes beyond that to include earnest efforts in developing students into fully skilled and perfect professionals.

This can be made possible by a rich exposure to modern trends and practices in the corporate world after receiving relevant academic inputs from highly qualified faculties. Keeping this in mind, we arrange periodic industrial visits, workshops, seminars and guest lectures for the benefit of the students. Participation of students in extra curricular activities exposes them to critical management concepts of leadership, team work, collaboration, mutual trust and practices associated with them. Our students, groomed in a rich academic and cultural environment, would not only prove themselves as invaluable in their respective fields they join in the future but also emerge as responsible citizens and true leaders of this modern yet ancient nation.
